CUT AND
LAY LAMINATOR
This unit produces a
laminated dough sheet, using the Cut&Lay principle.
It first produces a continuous dough sheet from which
individual dough sheets are cut off and deposited on top of
each other on the out feed conveyor.
This process gives the dough a layered structure, resulting
in light products with a crispy texture.
With the cut and lay principle board effects as with a
conventional folding laminator are avoided.
Another important feature is that the laminator is arranged
perpendicular to the centre line of cutting line resulting
in a 90°
turn of the dough after the gauging in the laminator. This
reduces the tension in the dough caused by the gauging.
